Wiggins Ferry Company Ledger Book

Scope and Contents The Wiggins Ferry Company operated a steam-powered ferry transporting individuals across the Mississippi River to and from Missouri and Illinois. In addition to the ferry, the Wiggins Ferry Company also developed depots, warehouses, and railroad tracks on both sides of the river. William Corr Shaw Collection

The William Corr Shaw Collection consists of materials related to Shaw's tenure as a faculty member at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Shaw was a professor of physics at SIUE from 1959 to 1973 and a professor emeritus from 1973 until his death in 1977.
